For this goal we used the following methods: situational analysis (generalization of scientific approaches to theoretical, organizational and economic principles of functioning of commodity exchanges), economic-statistical (study of the current state and trends of commodity exchanges in the grain market), systems analysis (development model, which allows to structure the main reasons hindering the development of commodity exchanges), abstract and logical (indicators for assessing the justification of commodity exchanges), analytic hierarchy process (identifying the most significant indicators of the activity of commodity exchanges).
