Aim of study - to provide management bodies in oblasts as well as scientific researches in oncology with timely, accurate and comprehensive information due to wide application of information technology of Cancer Registry. Method of research - medical informatics, descriptive epidemiology, mathematical statistics. Rates of morphological verification of malignant tumors, percentage of patients received the special treatment, stage of malignancies according the TNM system and detection of cancer on prophylactic examinations were studied with use of the modern information technology, which allows estimating the basic parameters of cancer control with a high degree of reliability. It was found that the overall level of morphological verification of cancer in Ukraine increased from 75.3% in 2000 to 84.2% in 2013. Implementation of a computerized recording information of cancer incidence is entirely comply with the requirements of the International Agency for Research on Cancer, which was confirmed by the inclusion of Ukraine data in its publication "Cancer incidence in 5 continents", Volume 10. It was found that the proportion of actively detected children with cancer does not even have a tendency to increase, and the indicators of the disease detection at early stage of tumor remain poor, that predetermine results of treatment of these patients. With 80% coverage of patients with special treatment, one in four children with cancer die during the first year after the date of diagnosis, and only 55% of these patients survive five-year period since the diagnosis. In general, the implementation of network of cancer registries significantly improved monitoring of cancer in children population and positively impacted on the effectiveness of its treatment. Information technology of Cancer Registry facilitated both prospective survival studies in population of regions depending on the type of treatment and evaluations of the timeliness of diagnostic procedures in each region and in Ukraine in general. Assessment of registration of data of treatment of patients with the main nosologic forms of cancer showed that most frequent registration of information on chemotherapy, hormonal therapy and immunotherapy was in patients with Hodgkin's disease (86.9%), multiple myeloma (77.4%), non- Hodgkin lymphoma (70.6%), breast cancer (68.9%), ovary cancer (66.6%), cervix cancer (64.2%) and leukemia (62.0%). INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, NATIONAL CANCER REGISTRY, CANCER, MORPHOLOGICAL VERIFICATION, COVERAGE WITH SPECIAL TREATMENT, DIAGNOSED DURING PREVENTIVE EXAMINATION.
