As a result of research are: - Improvements to existing and new methods of primary processing of pulse signals, reflected from layered media to determine the Gilbert delay; - Derived formulas and algorithms for determining the structure of layered media and irregularities in them with the help of pulse signals; - Conducted laboratory experimental research of the possibilities of using the proposed algorithms and computational results obtained for the search and identification of subsurface objects, and offered practical methods; - Created the patented technology of processing of pulse signals and interpretation of sensing and non-destructive testing of complex heterogeneous objects with inclusions. Results of research indicate the prospects of the chosen approach, and may form the basis for further improvement of methods and instruments for nondestructive monitoring, and should be developed in the following research.
