In this paper, the process of increasing the efficiency of the system of compensating inactive components of current of power supply systems in conditions of non-sinusoidal voltage of the power supply network is given. In the paper an analytical and numerical study of compensation processes in the power supply system using cross-vector theory in the frequency domain and time domain for cases of nonlinear load and harmonic distortions of the power supply voltage are carried out.
