Тotal 150 people were examined. The purpose of the study: the de-velopment of new methods for the prevention of suicidal activity on the basis of the study of the role of pain perception in the mechanisms of implementa-tion of auto-destructive behavior. Methods of research: clinical, clinical and psychopathological with an analytical study of medical documentation, сlini-cal-laboratory, electrophysiological (EEG). The results of the study: revealed general for patients with different diagnosis specific peculiarities of pain per-ception in patients with auto-aggressive behavior. It is proven that an increase in the ratio of the threshold of pain sensation and the threshold of pain toler-ance is prognostic. The method of treatment and prevention of auto-aggressive behavior in patient's dependent on alcohol is developed. During the research, 23 articles and theses were published, 18 scientific reports were made, 2 mon-ographs (devoted to non-invasive laboratory diagnostics) were published.
