The composite materials contained bio-glass. HAP with metals was used to achieve new properties of the material, in particular, to make its antibacterial and improve osteointegration. The technology for formation of gas-detonation coatings based on composites onto titanium substrates has been developed. In addition to investigations of surface morphology and content of the obtained coatings we paid special attention to study of phase-structural transformation during the deposition process. It was shown that all obtained coatings do not contain any "parasitical" phases, and, the phases those appeared in the deposition process are also bio-compatible. As a result of medical and biological studies we have shown prospectivity of the developed implants for substitution of big defects of tubular bones and joints. A patent devoted to the proposed method has been obtained.
