The aim of the study is to determine the influence of plastic deformation on the micro, meso- and macrostructure and prediction of the physical and mechanical properties of textured polycrystalline materials. The research methodsare the X-ray structural method for determining the defect structure parameters; dynamic and static method for measuring elastic and other mechanical properties; complex speckle-interferometric and X-ray methods for determining the stress-strain state of textured polycrystals; determination of microardness according to Rockwell. The equipmentis the X-ray device "DRON-3M"; Ushinsky device for speckle-interferometry researches developed at the university; Ushinsky device developed at the university for measuring the microhardness of aging materials in on-line regime; Instronmachine for the determination of mechanical properties; Ushinsky device developed for the measurement of elastic properties by the dynamic method. The theoretical and practical resultsarethedevelopment of method for determining of the spatial distribution of residual macro-stress (RMS) in a textured alloy of iron, aluminum, titanium and magnesium; the Hook's law generalized on the case of textured polycrystals and using it the functional relationship was established between the coefficient of linear temperature expansion (CLTE), residual deformations and RMS; the physical model is defined to explain the uncoupled regularities of the change in the RMS in the process of plastic deformation; new technologies that provide the optimal properties of sheet products. Noveltyis the analytical relationship the anisotropy of magnetic energy with the integral texture characteristics introduced into texture analysis by O. R. Gokhman; It is shown that with the growth of the fractal dimension of the grain boundaries there is a transition from a fragile transcrystalline recession to a visco-fragile character of destruction; The optimum stamping speeds are found which provide the production of stamped products with high elastic and mechanical properties. Efficiency of implementation, sphere of use:the five PhD's theses have been defended, two training courses have been redone, the method of determination of coefficient of linear temperature expansionhas been implementedinto the Odessa State Academy of Architecture and Construction.
