The dependence of bacterial cell luminescence on the consistency of the culture medium was studied. The optimal variant of the gel medium was developed, which provided the most stable and long-lasting bioluminescence in the presence of EPAA and EPS composition in the proportion of 70%+30% and NaCl in the concentration of 3%. Functional scheme of a photodetector built on the basis of two transient pulse amplifiers was developed, and a scheme for incorporating a photodiode was proposed to obtain an extremely low sensitivity threshold of the FFT at the photodiode sensitivity level
