Only the timely carrying out of preventive and antiepizootic measures prevents the occurrence of diseases. One of the types of prevention is the disinfection of rooms, aquariums, fishing gear and vehicles, which carry fish transportation. At present, the search for new antibacterial drugs effective for infectious diseases is actual and promising for stabilization and raising productivity of fish farming. One of them is the Epidex barrier or polyhexamethylene guanidine chloride (PGMG) with the addition of urea, which ensures the preservation of high disinfectant activity of the preparation (bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal) and prevents the freezing of aqueous solutions at low temperatures (from 0 to -15 ° C).
