The object of the study is the processes of energy conversion in thermoacoustic systems of utilization of waste heat of power plants. The subject of the study is the regularities and parameters of energy conversion processes in the utilization of heat of low-temperature thermal emissions in power plants by thermoacoustic methods. Research methods - analysis and generalization of scientific and technical information, synthesis of mathematical model of thermoacoustic energy saving system, CFD modeling. As a result of the research, a mathematical model of the power plant with a thermoacoustic energy-generating system for the utilization of low-temperature thermal emissions, in this case cryogenic ones, was constructed. Schemes of ship power plants with thermoacoustic energy saving systems have been developed. The calculations showed that the use of heat-utilizing thermoacoustic systems provides fuel savings of up to 4 - 8% depending on the type of ship's power plant.
