Accelerated electron beams (E to 6 MeV) and gamma rays (E = 1.6 MeV) were used on the LPT of NSC KIPT. Analysis of the measured gamma-ray spectra using a Ge (Li) detector revealed that all the samples contained practically no impurity elements. The results of X-ray diffractometry and IR spectrometry showed that the samples of metal nanoxides after the impact of ionizing radiation practically do not undergo significant changes in their phase composition and retain the original crystalline structure. The efficiency of the gamma-activated states of the metal nanocarbons was determined by the emitted radionuclides of Auger electrons, which have a high specific braking power (approximately 25 keV / μm) and runs comparable to the size of the nanoparticles. High ionization losses led to the formation of highly reactive oxygen products and the activation of the intensity of Fenton reactions. Various modification factors of the influence of radiation, hydrothermal and chemical nature on nanoparticles of metal oxides have allowed to obtain on this basis new nanoparticles with increased activity for sorbtion of radionuclides.
