The study's object is improving of training sysrem for military units of the Ukrainian Army on the basis of analysis of the experience from Joint Forces Operation, as well the standards and principles adopted by the armed forces of NATO and European Union (EU) member states. The purpose of the work is to substantiate a prospective Model for training the Ukrainian Army military units embracing fully interoperability with the armed forces of NATO and EU member states. During the research work and studies the following theories and methods have been used: the theory of complex systems (in the development of a prospective Model for training the Ukrainian Army military units); theory of chances (in developing methodology for evaluating effectiveness of the training system for the Ukrainian Army military units; methods of expert analysis (in grounding the prospective Model for training military units; algorithm theory (in identifying ways to improve the training system for the Ukrainian Army military units, based on analysis of the experience from Joint Forces Operation, as well the standards and principles adopted by the armed forces of NATO and EU member states. The paper analyzes the existing regulatory framework and methodologies on improving the training system for the Ukrainian Army military units, as well as studies problematic issues on functioning existing training system in the Ukrainian Army. The work identifies ways in improving the training system based on analysis of the experience from Joint Forces Operation, as well the standards and principles adopted by the armed forces of NATO and EU member states. One of the major research outcomes is developing the prospective Model for training the Ukrainian Army military units embracing fully interoperability with the armed forces of NATO and EU member states.
