In order to provide information to potential participants in international production networks regarding the conditions for their formation and development in different countries of the world, as well as through the availability of sufficiently highly aggregated data and assumptions present in the value added trade statistics, a conceptual approach is proposed, based on the use of methodological evaluation tools rooted in a marker system defined by these conditions. The reliability of the proposed system is confirmed by the presence of connections between markers and the index of involvement in global production networks (GVCs participation index). The work evaluates fundamental interactions through a marker system that is defined by IPN formation conditions in 35 countries of the world. The obtained results allowed to distinguish 6 clusters: first-primary, second-progressive, third-medial, fourth-main, fifth-leading and sixth-experienced. Determining the rules for assigning a country to a particular cluster allowed to identify and substantiate the patterns of the relationship between the level of technological development of the country and the conditions for its entry into international production networks. It is proved that in order to achieve the conditions for entering into a higher cluster, an understanding of the challenges arising from the constant transformation of the globalized world, in which there is a need to formulate a strategy for preserving the position achieved in a cluster through annual reforms, is necessary Product Description popup.authors Bakaliyska Olha O.
