Header phenomenon as text name is understood; clarified and unified the conceptual terminological apparatus of the topic, classified titles of works of contemporary Ukrainian literature by semantic, structural and pragmatic criteria, identified the main lexical-semantic fields in them and hierarchized their structure. A new line of research for the Ukrainian Paremia Fund has been launched - cognitive-functional paremology, focused on complex adverb analysis, covering three dimensions of linguosemiosis: semantics, which implies cognitive reconstruction of the deep content of paremia; syntax related to explaining their categorical and stylistic functions in the text; pragmatics aimed at revealing the speech-act nature of paremic units from the perspective of their projection on interpreters. Ukrainian paremias are analyzed as linguistic characters that integrate semantics projected on the cognitive mechanisms of ethnic consciousness, syntax, and pragmatics.
