The object of research is cereal bioenergy crops - millet (switchgrass) and miscanthus, their varieties and hybrids, pathogens of leaf apparatus. The purpose of scientific research is to establish the tolerance of varieties and hybrids of cereal bioenergy crops to major diseases and to develop methods for assessing the resistance of breeding materials to them.Research methods - field and laboratory. Laboratory and field studies were performed in accordance with the method of assessing the resistance of wheat varieties against pests and pathogens (Kyiv, Kolobig, 2010). The results of the research will be used to develop recommendations for the use of disease-tolerant breeding materials for cereal bioenergy crops in production
