The subject of research is the synthesis of new derivatives as a result of reactions of N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinonymines with S- and O-nucleophiles, development of simple available methods of their synthesis. Research methods are organic synthesis, NMR 1H spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, quantum chemical calculations, elemental analysis. For the first time the new derivatives, based on N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinonymines with various substituents in the quinoid ring, were synthesized as a result of reactions with S- and O-nucleophiles. Preparative methods of synthesis have been developed. The obtained compounds are the both N,N'-disubstituted derivatives of urea and the derivatives of N-substituted-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines. That significantly expands the synthetic possibilities of obtaining new derivatives based on them. New 1,3-benzoxathiol-2-one derivatives have been obtained by the reaction of N-[arylsulfonylimino(methyl)methyl]-1,4-benzoquinone imines and N-carbamoyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimines with thiourea, which cannot be obtained by reaction with potassium thiocyanate. It was found that N-carbamoyl derivatives of 1,4-benzoquinone monoimine with substituents in both ortho-positions to the imine carbon atom of the quinoid ring have steric stress in the R–NH–C(O)– fragment. It has beens proved by X-ray diffraction data. Therefore they form stable quinolide structures according to the 1,2-addition scheme in reactions with alcohols. N-acyl-1,4-benzoquinone monoimine derivatives have been found to have bactericidal activity against Mycobacterium luteum and Staphylococcus aureus. New compositions of technological fluids are proposed, which significantly reduce the coefficient of friction in steel rolling. Product Description popup.authors Apuhtina Nadiya V.
