The subject of research is the dependence of the deviation from the given trajectory on the parameters of the automated steering system. The purpose of the research is to review and analyze the positioning technologies and automated steering systems presented on the markets of Ukraine and Europe. Research methods. Theoretical research is based on the choice of the significance of the parameters of the mathematical model of tractor steering wheel control based on the PID regulator and the coefficients and parameters of the mathematical model of tractor orientation in space when it leaves on a given trajectory. Main scientific results: The structural and functional scheme of the ARC (automated steering) is substantiated and its element base is chosen. A system of global positioning of the tractor based on a two-frequency Ublox receiver with support for the RTK positioning method has been developed. The system of planning of the production task and the monitor of control and management of the automated movement of a tractor (terminal) is developed and made. AgOpenGPS software corrected (positioning data exchange protocol agreed). A tractor course control system has been developed, which consists of a servo controller, a servomotor for steering the tractor and a steering angle sensor for steered wheels. The system of planning of the production task and the monitor of control and management of the automated movement of a tractor with the integrated system of global positioning is developed. A mock-up of a system of automated driving of a machine-tractor unit on a given trajectory is made. Functional tests of the ARC were performed.
