The purpose of the work - development of methodology and interdisciplinary methodic tools for combating cybercrime in the banking sphere, substantiation and development of organizational and institutional basics to ensure the stability of financial cyberspace at the internal banking and state levels to ensure economic security of state and protecting rights of financial services consumers. Research methods-systematic approach, dialectical method of scientific knowledge, fundamental provisions of banking, modern mathematical methods, models and information technologies in the banking sphere, modern concepts of cybersecurity, legislative and regulatory documents of the National Bank of Ukraine, bank instructions, scientific works of domestic and foreign experts. The types of cyber threats, frauds, and the reasons that cause their appearance have been studied; mathematical models of probability of occurrence of fraudulent operations in banks are developed; the level of banks' losses from fraudulent operations has been assessed; a set of preventive measures to prevent situations that are classified as cyber threats or fraud has been worked out; modeling of business processes of the bank's audit service was performed; algorithms for detecting and preventing fraud in banks, which are carried out from external sources have been worked out; algorithms for detecting and preventing bank staff fraud in banks have been developed; the direction of development of cyberspace as a component of information security at the national level is determined; quantitative and qualitative levels of efficiency of the internal banking cybersecurity system are determined.
