Increasing the level of philosophy teaching in the technical colleges and universities. In the research analysis of sociocultural and personal dimensions of science was carried out.Scientific knowledge as a topic of philosophy of science and scientific knowledge in sociocultural context were considered. A study of scientific and extrascientific methodology was conducted.The meaning of time concept in history and philosophy of science was considered. The contentsand main tendencies of philosophy of architecture development were analyzed, the role and functions of architecture in philosophical utopias, influence of cosmology and philosophy on Ancient Chinese architecturewere studied. Key notions in philosophy of technology underwent philosophical analysis as well as special role of the technoscience in the modern scientific discourse, its specificity and future outlook. The issues of social forecasting and futurology were considered, particularly evolution of foresight technologies and their influence on society. The findings of the research were employed in developing“Philosophy of Science, Technology and Architecture” manual for Master’s Degree and PhD students, methodology guidelines, monographs and scientific articles, panel discussions and lectures of the Chair professors. The research theme was used by the Chair of Philosophy to hold a pan-Ukrainian conference. Later the abstracts of the conference were published.
