The object of study - a set of organizational, legal, socio-economic and industrial relations that arise in the process of formation and development of entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector on the back of institutional changes. The theoretical and methodological basis of research is a dialectical method of cognition and a systematic approach to the study of socio-economic phenomena and processes associated with the formation and development of entrepreneurship in agriculture and in rural areas. The following methods were used during the research process: abstract-logical, comparative, morphological, economic-statistical and special research methods. The results of research embrace, in particular, the following: defined the conceptual foundations of social entrepreneurship; mechanisms for ensuring rational land use by agribusiness entities are proposed; prospects and challenges of agribusiness development in the field of poultry farming are studied; the experience of application of information technologies in agricultural production is investigated; the role of entrepreneurship in rural communities and factors of their development are studied. The results of the study are reflected in the set of scientific publications of authors for 2019-2020.
