Purpose of the study: - systematization, stream-lining and unifying of sports vocabulary, terminology aimed at intensifying the process of its implementation during the study of the Ukrainian business language; - analysis of innovative methods of teaching foreign languages, development of new effective approaches to achieve such a level of knowledge, skills and abilities that will provide the communicative ability sufficient for a specialist in the sport field during their daily communication; - improving the forms of learning process that will ensure maximum communicative freedom for foreign students while their communication in the field of the chosen specialty, listening to lecture materials and making up their own speeches. Purpose of the research phase: - streamlining the conceptual scheme of Ukrainian sports terms in order to use them in the educational process; - application of innovative teaching methods and the latest methods of teaching foreign languages; - formation of communication skills among foreign students using professional vocabulary at different stages of study. Object of research: sports terms, the latest techniques, innovative technologies, the structure of educational tasks, students' self-study work. Subject of research: rational methods that allow optimizing and intensifying the process of teaching foreign languages in various types of speech activities: reading, translation, writing, listening, annotating, abstracting. Research methods: analysis of special literature and scientific materials, methods of stimulation and motivation, survey analysis, questionnaires, testing, pedagogical control, self-control, methods of mathematical statistics, methods of mathematical data processing.
