Objective: to reduce the frequency of social maladaptation and improve the quality of life of young children with unconscious forms of epileptic encephalopathies to determine their role in the formation of cognitive epileptiform disintegration and ASD; develop criteria for their early diagnosis and conduct comprehensive treatment. Research methods: clinical, electroencephalographic mapping, EEG-video monitoring, magnetic resonance imaging of the brain, medical and genetic examination, pathopsychological diagnosis. The novelty of the work is to study the nature of the main trigger factors that lead to the development of non-seizure forms of epileptic encephalopathy and encephalopathy, autism spectrum disorders and cognitive disintegration in children; on the basis of which schemes of diagnostics and complex pathogenetically conditioned therapy of non-convulsive forms of epileptic encephalopathies, ASD with cognitive disintegration in children of early and preschool age have been developed. Scientific and theoretical significance lies in the development of an algorithm for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of non-seizure forms of epileptic encephalopathies and ASD with cognitive disintegration to reduce the frequency of disability and severe social maladaptation of children with this pathology. The proposed schemes will allow for timely diagnosis and pathogenetically sound treatment of ASD in children of early and preschool age with disorders of psycho-speech development. Based on the materials of the work, 29 scientific works were published, including 1 monograph, 16 articles and 12 abstracts in professional periodicals, made 95 reports at conferences and congresses, received a patent №143480 and submitted 1 application for a scientific work.
