The object of research is natural medical resources, resort and recreational potential, sanatorium infrastructure of Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
Purpose: scientific substantiation of conceptual bases and determination of prospects of sustainable development of resort and recreational territories of the south of Ukraine for increase of competitiveness and investment attractiveness of medical and health tourism in the Black Sea region.
The results of the study:
- comprehensive analysis of the current state of natural medical and recreational resources located in the Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, with an assessment of the effectiveness of the existing recreational, health and resort potential of the region;
- scientifically substantiated recommendations on rational and economically effective use of recreational, medical and health and resort potential of the Black Sea region;
- conceptual principles of sustainable development of health tourism in the Black Sea region;
- maps of the spatial location of natural medical and recreational resources within each region of the Black Sea region of Ukraine.
