popup.description2
The research object is the processes of porous nanosystems formation of carbon, zinc oxide, nickel oxide, and composite materials by condensing these materials under conditions close to thermodynamic equilibrium and processes occurring in lithium-ion batteries when the obtained porous systems are used as electrodes.
The work aimed to form highly porous carbon and zinc oxide and composite electrodes based on these materials with morphology, structure, elemental composition, and thickness, which determine the increase of electrochemical characteristics of lithium-ion electrochemical batteries.
For the first time, porous Zn and Ni nanosystems were obtained based on the technological approach of self-organization of small relative supersaturations of the deposited vapor, which were subsequently used as precursors for the deposition of porous turbostratic graphite. Based on comprehensive studies of the obtained porous composites C/Zn and C/Ni, C/ZnO, and C/NiO, it is shown that in the local areas of increasing turbostratic graphite, the preconditions for the nucleation and growth of carbon nanowalls or fibers are created.
Studies of charge-discharge cycles using porous nanosystems based on C/Zn, C/Ni, C/ZnO, C/NiO, ZnO/NiO and Zn/ZnO/NiO as anodes solvents such as LiPF6 and LiBF4 have shown that depending on the structural and morphological characteristics, the elemental composition of the anodes and the number of cycles, the specific capacity of the batteries varies from 800 to 120 mAh/gram. It was shown for the first time that the highest stability to the number of cycles was shown by anodes based on C/ZnO nanosystems with a specific capacity of 250-320 mAh/gram
