In order to study the course of processes in different zones of the furnace and the development of scientific ideas about the laws of blast furnace smelting, models of control of its efficiency in blast furnace production in Ukraine have been developed and implemented. Based on the information received from the blast furnace production models, the regularities of changes in heat loss and coke consumption, lining ignition and garnish formation depending on the blast furnace operation mode are established.
