Object: 70 adolescents with bronchial asthma without exacerbation. Aim – to increase control of BA in adolescents on the basis of new scientific data on the characteristics of the clinical course, functional tests and the life quality of patients. Methods – clinical, spirography, questioning, mathematical, statistical. Peculiarities of ВА clinical signs and QL in adolescents depending on the level of disease control and the nature of changes in functional tests with short-acting bronchodilators have been established. The technology of assessment and improvement of asthma control in adolescents was developed on the basis of established new data on the features of the clinical course of asthma and patients QL depending on the level of disease control. A method has been developed to monitor the level of asthma control in adolescents by bronchodilation tests with SABA, which can detect up to 20,0% of cases of "hidden" bronchospasm. A method has been developed to assess the level of asthma control in adolescents, according to which in patients with an increase in forced expiratory volume for the first second (FEV1)<12,0%, established in a bronchodilator test with salbutamol, use the PAQLQ questionnaire and the integrated total Q≤6,5 scores perform an additional test with a combined bronchodilator and the increase in FEV1≥12,0% set PB, which allows 1.8 times to increase the accuracy of the assessment of the level of asthma control. A model for establishing indications for bronchodilation test with CB, which has a high accuracy of predicting the expected response of adolescents with asthma, which allows to increase the accuracy of diagnosis of asthma control by 21,2%. Practical recommendations have been developed to improve the control of asthma in adolescents, which include the use of a set of measures consisting of mandatory spirometry, personalized samples with different SABA, testing for AST, ACQ and PAQLQ.
