The purpose of the work is research and generalization of theoretical and practical approaches, development of recommendations for improving the development of social policy in the context of decentralization of power. The research used a dialectical method of scientific knowledge, as well as general scientific methods of knowledge: methods of theoretical generalization, comprehensive analysis (to study the features of financial security and implementation of social policy in decentralization), comparison and systematic approach (for analysis of financial security), method synthesis (in the study of the strategy of social policy of Ukraine), methods of generalization and detail (to develop proposals for improving the social security system). The information base of the study was the Laws of Ukraine, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, information sources of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, State Statistics Service of Ukraine, National and World Bank, scientific materials and monographs of domestic and foreign scientists.Based on the study, it was found that in Ukraine it is important to create such a mechanism of social policy of the state, the basis of which is to strengthen control over the timely adoption of the state budget and compliance with the budget process; improving the system of control over the targeted use of public funds; introduction of measures to de-shadow the economy to increase the level of tax revenues; development of the latest technologies for storage and transmission of information, acceleration of scientific and technological progress, updating the material and technical base, which, in turn, should help increase employment and reduce unemployment; rationalization of the structure of public expenditures through their partial delegation to the sphere of non-state finan Product Description popup.authors Abdullaieva Anastasiia Ye.
