The aim of the work is - to study the presence of autoantibodies to eEF1A in the serum of patients with DMT1 from the Slavic population. Research methods - enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, statistical methods. The presence of autoantibodies to eEF1A translation elongation factor in these samples was studied using serum samples from patients with type 1 diabetes of Ukrainian and Polish population. The presence of a certain amount of autoantibodies to eEF1A in blood samples of patients with type 1 diabetes of Ukrainian and Polish origin is shown. This indicates the possible universal nature of the presentation of eEF1A as an autoantigen in type 1 diabetes in the Slavic and South Asian populations.
