Experimental and numerical studies have been carried out to determine the influence of flow unsteadiness on the formation of vortex structures on the surface of classical bodies during their oscillation. The influence of the deformation of a streamlined surface on the structure of the boundary layer and accompanying wake is studied. Also, the influence of a structured streamlined surface and the nonisothermal nature of the medium on the processes of formation of the vortex structure of the flow in the transitional regime was studied.
