Based on theoretical research and legal framework, approaches to assessment of intellectual property rights (IPR) are identified: cost, comparative, revenue. It is defined that commercialization of medical research has its own unique features and stages of safety studies, requires compliance with a number of standards. Conceptual model (CM) of commercialization is developed based on IDEF0 notation using CASE-tool CA Erwin Process Modeller. A feature of CM is its hierarchical representation of elements setting up of logical connections between them. The results laid down basis of the logical structure of CM by combining relevant information blocks of the subject area with possible ways to commercialize STD - biotechnological pharmacocorrection of metabolic processes in tumor disease and nanocomposites as systems of targeted transport and overcoming drug resistance.
