During the reporting period, the educational direction of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was created and substantiated. It identifies three levels of goals that can be achieved in the implementation of scientific education of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: scientific literacy and responsible citizenship, research competence and scientific competence. The first educational goal, which is aimed at the vast majority of children, we have identified as a fundamental basis for the ability to possess modern competencies and technologies, based on scientific knowledge of the world and sufficient for effective decision-making not only in personal and social life but also in applied issues. which are related to understanding the nature of things. At the initial level of involvement in science, motivation, inclination and readiness for research work increase, a positive attitude to science is formed, and basic problem-solving skills are established.
