The effect of Zr phthalocyanine complexes with dehydroacetic acid and its condensed derivatives with crotonaldehyde and benzaldehyde on insulin fibrillation was studied by analysis of amyloid-sensitive fluorescent dye, scanning electron microscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy. It is shown that the presence of Zr phthalocyanines modifies the process of fibril formation. Monitoring of insulin fibrillization kinetics showed that the presence of phthalocyanines reduces the intensity of this reaction by 45-68% of the initial intensity.
