Aim. To study the dynamics of changes in the structures of the anterior segment of the eye, its blood circulation and heat transfer through the use of infrared diaphanoscopy and thermometry in patients with neovascular glaucoma and trauma. Methods: visometry, refractometry, tonometry, biomicroscopy, color photography of the anterior segment of the eye, infrared diaphanoscopy, X-ray diagnostics in direct and lateral projections with and without Comberg-Baltin prosthesis, ultrasound scanning of the anterior and posterior remote thermography, rheophthalmography. For the first time, the possibility of visualization of intraocular bodies (process and flat parts of the ciliary body) in transpalpebral illumination of the human eye by LED radiation in the near infrared range (940 nm) due to the peculiarities of its transmission and absorption. For the first time, an increase in the width of the ciliated part of the ciliary body in patients after moderate to severe eyeball contusion compared with paired intact eyes, which may indicate the presence of post-traumatic edema of the ciliary body. Thus, in patients with contusion of the eyeball, an increase in the width of the process of the ciliated body of the affected eye (2.5 ± 0.1) mm (compared to paired intact eyes) (2.0 ± 0.1) mm).
