Research methods: structural-functional, historical-comparative, interdisciplinary methods. The complex of polyethnic documentary sources to the history of development and structuring of the main divisions-holders of the library is revealed. The representativeness of the identified source base of the study was clearly demonstrated in the research and exhibition work and exhibition of 547 documents, documentary exhibitions dedicated to the anniversaries of the birthdays of V. Stefanyk, Lesia Ukrainka, V. Shchurat, M. Wozniak. Three monographs and a source study were published: articles, reports on all-Ukrainian, international scientific conferences. During the reporting period, research continued in preparation for the publication of certain scientific reference, source, scientific and information publications, articles, thematic reviews, the formation of databases; the second stage of monitoring the state of preservation of documents from the archives of the NTSh in Lviv; continued work on the development of the concept, structure and sections of documentary exhibitions of the museum-research complex of historian Ivan Krypyakevych and patron of the founder of the «Foundation of O. and T.
