The purpose of the work is to test the methods of synthesis of new types of semiconductor ceramics, quantum-sized semiconductor structures, study of their physical properties in order to build new devices and devices of micro- and nanoelectronics. Research methods - electric spectroscopy, dielectric spectroscopy; X-ray phase analysis, optical spectroscopy, magnetic spectroscopy, radiospectroscopy. The optimal conditions for the synthesis of nanocrystals, semiconductor ceramics, quantum structures, gas sensors and composite materials have been determined. The conductivity barrier mechanism of composite varistor ceramics based on VO2, the position of energy levels of Mn2 + ion in solid solutions based on ZnS-ZnSe system, the nature of electrical conductivity of polypropylene-nanocarbon composites, the sensitivity of ceramics to various gases. The research results are published in leading international and professional publications, materials of international scientific conferences and enshrined in the patents of Ukraine.
