The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of financial stability of credit institutions, development of methodological approaches and practical recommendations for improving its systemic support in Ukraine from the standpoint of institutional and accounting support. The main tasks of R & D: to explore conceptual approaches to the interpretation of the economic essence of credit institutions and their role in the field of financial intermediation; to generalize the theoretical and methodological basis, object bases, essential characteristics and categorical features of the concepts "financial stability", "financial stability of a credit institution"; substantiate and develop methodological principles of forming a system for ensuring the financial stability of credit institutions; to determine the features of ensuring the financial stability of credit institutions in terms of their types and phases of life cycles; substantiate the structural construction of the accounting paradigm of credit institutions, identify components of theoretical and empirical levels of knowledge, as well as identify modifications of its tasks, functions, principles and elements of the method in the management system of credit institutions; identify and systematize information requests of users of accounting information of credit institutions in accordance with their interests; to develop methodological support for accounting of credit institutions; to optimize the system of organization of accounting staff and the reporting system of credit institutions, taking into account the information requests of users and compliance with the principle of economic feasibility.
