Registration Date 17-11-2022 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2  The results of the research of 211 cases of traffic accidents, which were accompanied by injury and death of people, for the purpose of identification and comparison by experts of signs of contact with a pedestrian of car parts allow us to conclude that in many cases the nature and mechanism of injury to a pedestrian as a result of contact with the rear part car is not of decisive importance in the diagnosis of this type of injury, and therefore it is almost impossible to carry out a full diagnosis of this variant of car-pedestrian contact with just forensic medical examination of a living person or a corpse, since in this case it is necessary to apply data of a completely different nature - special knowledge in the field of medical criminilastics and transport trasology. This, in turn, necessitates the prescription in such cases of a complex forensic medical and transport-pathological examination, in which both experts (forensic medical expert of a general profile and forensic medical expert-criminalist) and experts - transport trasologists must participate.
