The aim of the research was to establish existence conditions and qualitative properties of solutions of non-classical boundary value problems for equations of mathematical physics and mechanics with subsequent application of the obtained results to modern problems simulating physical and chemical processes in anisotropic and heterogeneous media, motion control processes of distributed robotic systems, etc.
As a result of research, new and improved existing analytical and qualitative methods for the study of nonlinear elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic equations with non-standard boundary conditions or the structure of coefficients.
The results of the research have potential applications in image processing, in construction and investigation of models describing flows of electro-rheological fluids, for constructive determination of control functionals for stabilisation of vibrations of elastic engineering structures, for damping of vibrations of various kinds of complex mechanical systems, for modelling complex physical phenomena of gas and fluid mechanics, etc.
