The purpose of the research is to develop methods and means of building discrete models of objects with distributed parameters in the form of interval differential equations based on a combination of the ontological approach and the analysis of interval data to expand the scope and conditions of application of the model while ensuring its given prognostic properties. Research methods – mathematical modeling theory, interval data analysis methods, identification theory methods, optimization methods, systems theory methods, subject area ontological modeling methods, relational algebra methods, computer modeling methods, systems approach and object-oriented analysis, design and programming, functional and complex system testing. The analysis of modern methods and tools for developing discrete models and methods of the ontological approach made it possible to provide the basis for the development of modeling methods and presentation of the subject area, in the form of a complex nonlinear element of the interval discrete model, built on the basis of the analysis of interval data to expand the scope of application of simpler models in the selected subject area region.
