The purpose of the work is to establish the effectiveness of using various feed additives with protected protein in cattle rations. It has been proven that the use of feed additives with an increased content of protected protein makes it possible to more accurately balance cattle feeding rations in accordance with norms and productivity. It was established that the use of feed additives with an increased content of protected protein helped to increase the productivity of experimental animals: dairy cows - by natural milk by 6.9%, mass frequency of fat in milk - by 0.07%, mass frequency of protein - by 0.19% , with milk of basic fat content - by 8.8%; average daily gains in live weight of 6-8-month-old repair heifers - by 1.8%, 9-11-month-old - by 9.7%, fattening steers - by 6.5%. The use of feed additives with protected protein in feeding cattle makes it possible to increase the productivity of animals, reduce the cost of protein per unit of production and increase the economic efficiency of dairy farming.
