Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  Report: 45 pages, 16 figures, 5 tables, 16 sources. The objects of research were: • producers of aflatoxin complex (B1, B2, G1, G2) – 8 strains of Aspergillus flavus; • producers of the ochratoxin complex (A, B, C) - 4 strains of Aspergillus ochraceus; • patulin producer – 1 strain of Penicillium urticae. In addition, the following substrates were used to obtain simulated real contaminated samples: wheat and soybeans contaminated with A. flavus; corn and millet contaminated with A. ochraceus; crushed apples from various sources are contaminated with P. urticae, as well as real damaged (rotten) apples. The purpose of the V stage of work is to develop recommendations for optimizing the device based on the test results. The general goal of the project is the development and optimization of a portable device based on enzymatic electrochemical biosensors for the analysis of mycotoxins in agricultural crops and products, conducting metrological activities and testing experimental samples of devices on real objects. Real samples of food products and animal feed contaminated with mycotoxins and simulated contaminated samples of substrates obtained by the method of solid-phase fermentation at a temperature of 26°C for 21 days were crushed to a powder state and subjected to extraction under the following conditions: extractant - methanol, sample: extractant ratio = 1: 5 , duration 30 minutes, once, at room temperature, without light. Extracts were evaporated under reduced pressure using a rotary evaporator to a minimum volume. Concentrated alcoholic preparations without additional purification were placed in epindorfs and sent to the laboratory to determine the content of the complexes corresponding to each analyzed sample of mycotoxins with the help of enzymatic electrochemical biosensors and, if necessary, work out recommendations for optimizing these devices based on the test results.
