The goal of the project is to develop the physical basis for the creation of new magnetoelectric polymer composites (MPCs) based on carbon-containing magnetic shell structures (CMOS) and to establish the patterns of their formation of abnormally high absorption characteristics of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) in the short-wave part of the microwave range based on complex theoretical and experimental studies the relationship between the production methods, the structure, phase composition of CMOS, the nature of their spatial distribution in the CM, and electrodynamic properties. As part of the work on the second stage of the NDR, the microwave characteristics of different types of CMOS were investigated, namely: (i) dielectric core/carbon shell when using ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene UVPE (H(CH2CH2)nH) as a dielectric core, and carbon nanoparticles of different morphologies as shells (nanotubes, graphite nanoplates of GNP, carbon nanoparticles decorated with magnetic nanoparticles (Ni20Fe80; Co93Fe07; Ni20Co80) with different concentrations of magnetic nanoparticles on the nanocarbon surface; (ii) dielectric core (SiO2) / magnetic shell, (iron oxides); (iii) magnetic core (Ni or Co/carbon shell; (iv) 2D and 3D structures based on glass microspheres of various sizes covered with a layer of GNP or GNP-NiFe, Mo. The influence of the type of CMOS, their morphology, phase composition, structure, nature of spatial distribution in CMC was established on the mechanisms of formation of electrodynamic characteristics, such as values of dielectric and magnetic permeability and the main regularities of their change in in the KMW wavelength range.  Product Description popup.authors Vovchenko Ludmila L.
