It includes 9452 species, represented by 10342 taxa of the intraspecific rank (algae - 6486 species, 7376 intraspecific taxa, bryophytes - 867 species, lichens and lichenophilic fungi - 2150 species. In order to modernize the available data and addition of information on the distribution and ecology of spore plants of Ukraine, algae, bryophytes and lichens of different territories have been studied. Among them nature conservation areas (Kazantyp and Drevlians natural and Danube and Carpathian biosphere reserves, Mykhailivska Tsilyna Nature Reserve, national natural parks Dzharylhach, Holosiivskyi, Kremenets Mountains, Arboretum Olexandria, etc.) and other territories (Poltava Plain Algofloristic District, Kyiv Upland Region, Crimean coastal zone, Berehove and Chernihiv towns, etc.). 4 genera and 202 species of algae new to the flora of Ukraine, 5 species of chytridial fungi - algae parasites, 1 species of bryophytes, 2 species of lichens and more than 270 rare species of spore plants were identified. In general, 2 new genera, 16 species and 2 varieties of algae and 24 genera and 83 species of lichens, 16 nomenclatural combinations of algae and 243 lichens were proposed. A modern "Identification manual of phytomonads algae of Ukraine" was published.
