 The fulfillment of the theme of the GDR made it possible to put into scientific use a representative corpus of hitherto unknown sources of research on the social structure of the Ukrainian Cossacks of the mid-17th-18th centuries. Among them are typical Cossack documents, as well as materials of the clergy and offices of various institutions of the Russian Empire. Martyn Golinsky's manuscript "Silva rerum" is an extremely important compendium of documents of various origins that shed light on the formation of the Hetmanate and the formation of its new elite based on the Cossack state. 8 collections of documents, 2 monographs and a number of articles on the research topic have been published.
