On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of scientific and informational materials, identify and characterize the completeness and meaningful significance of the leading humanitarian landmarks in the life of Ukrainian society, clarify their consolidating function, trace the relationship of spiritual values with the material interests of citizens. The problems of consolidating Ukrainian society, overcoming internal disagreements and collisions in building a modern political nation and civil society are gaining particular importance. Among the methodological tools, general scientific methods of historical reconstruction, systemic-structural and comparative-typological, are of particular importance: the first allows to reveal the heuristic and creative experience of achieving harmony and social unity in the past, the second - enables the search and detection of points of disturbance (bifurcation) and zones (fields ) imbalances that lead to a violation of the stability of the system, with further development of mechanisms and a strategy to overcome them, the heuristic potential of the third allows to identify the positive experience of social consolidation in other countries of the world and to project it on domestic realities.
