Recommendations for improving programs of environmental monitoring of water bodies, the use of financial and fiscal instruments to ensure their environmental safety and the development of hydropower in Ukraine have been developed. The concept of building power sources for autonomous hydrometeorological measuring stations based on renewable energy sources was developed. The structure of the database of measurement results of the controlled parameters of the automatic monitoring system was formed.
