The object of the study is the social relations that develop in the field of protection of business entities and their legitimate economic activities from unlawful seizure and takeover. The subject of the study is a set of interrelated issues related to the unlawful redistribution and alienation of property (raiding), the peculiarities of its spread in Ukraine and ways to counteract it. The purpose of the study is to develop methodological recommendations for detecting and preventing criminal and other offenses related to the illegal seizure and takeover of enterprises (raiding). The purpose and objectives of the study were realized through the comprehensive application of such methods as systematic study, logical and comparative analysis of legal acts, study and generalization of relevant materials, summarization, sampling, grouping, comparison, and generalization of the results obtained.
