For the Ukrainian Carpathians, certain issues of the history of the development of the relief were highlighted, a morphostructural-morphosculptural analysis and geomorphological regionalization of the Wododilno-Verkhovynskich Carpathians were performed, and a morphological classification of rock complexes in the Beskids was created. A number of reference sections (forest-soil complexes, aeolian forms and cover sands) were investigated in Podillia, Predkarpattia, Volyn and Male Polissia in order to obtain new data. The morphometric analysis of the relief was carried out for the Kremenetsky Mountains, Berezhanske Opilya. Detailed studies of the fluvial relief were carried out on the example of individual river valleys of Peredcarpathia, the Ukrainian Carpathians, the Volyn highlands and key areas of river valleys of the Dniester basin and a selected urbanized area (the city of Lviv). Engineering and geomorphological studies concerned the mining terrain (mainly quarries) of Roztochchi, Western Podillia and Serednie (Middle) Pobuzhzhia, as well as modern (Lviv) and ancient (Stilske Gorodyshche) settlement areas. Applied geomorphological studies for nature conservation, geotourism and geoeducational needs were carried out on the territories of a number of objects of the nature reserve fund (in the Medobory Nature Reserve; National Nature Parks “Karpatskyi”, “Pivnichne (Northern) Podillia”, “Dniester Canyon”, “Nobelskyi”, Regional Landscape Parks “Ravske Roztochchia”, “Nadsyanskyi” and “Dnistrovskyi”).
