Selected methods of soil, botanical and ornithological studies of floodplain complexes of the upper Dnister basin, Transcarpathian lowlands, Polissia and Roztochia. A retrospective analysis of global changes in the natural environment was carried out about selected model objects and territories, in particular, a pilot automatic classification of Polissia biotopes using machine learning methods (Random Forest, CART, Gradient Tree Boos) was carried out for 7 classes of biotopes, based on multi-year time series of MSI multispectral space images Sentinel-2 and SAR Sentinel-1 radar survey and achieved an overall accuracy of classification in the range of 92-97%. A guideline for assessing the state of travertine springs was developed, taking into account their geological, hydrological, landscape and floristic specifics. Materials related to the distribution and study of hard water springs and travertine formations were analysed. The "Concept for the management of water bodies in the context of the reorganization of activities in the exclusion zone, the management of the biosphere reserve and the special use zone" was prepared to restore wetlands in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. Wetland types of habitats in Polissia were evaluated in terms of their migratory value for the red-listed species of the black stork. The results of the analyses indicate an excess of harmful pesticides and their derivatives in most of the water bodies examined by us. And they are in all types of samples: water, silt and, worst of all, living organisms. Sometimes these doses exceed the norm by hundreds of times, which poses a danger to the condition of black stork populations in these territories. Product Description popup.authors Bokotey Andriy A.
