Methodological approaches have been developed to determine the effects of the pandemic on inequality and poverty of the population of Ukraine according to three components: assessment of the first consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic based on available statistical data; modeling of direct and indirect consequences using the microsimulation approach; comprehensive assessment of monetary and non-monetary manifestations of poverty and inequality due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The analysis of long series of dynamics was carried out.
An analysis of poverty indicators for a 22-year period was carried out in terms of family types, socio-demographic groups and types of settlements.
